Spaghetti with broccoli

Written By Sandra on Thursday, 24 March 2011 | 10:24

Spaghetti with broccoli - simple, inexpensive, healthy, fast, accessible ... and you'll need following (serving for two persons):

250 g spaghetti
350 g Broccoli (1 medium broccoli)
salt and pepper to taste
1 / 2 dl olive oil
4 cloves garlic
1 / 2 cords of parsley
chili peppers and Parmesan cheese (at will)

In a large pot of boiling water add a large spoon of salt and add spaghetti, and after a minute or two (depending on the length of cooking spaghetti), add washed and divided (in flowers) broccoli.

While spaghetti and broccoli are cooking, chop the garlic and parsley and prepare a larger pan with olive oil. Warm oil, add garlic, chili (at will), pepper, parsley and salt (if needed) - stir and let the garlic "smell" (garlic should not scorch). When the pasta and broccoli are cooked, drain and mix into the prepared sauce - Stir well and serve warm.

If you like, you can sprinkle it with grated Parmesan.

Bon appetite!

That seems like a good idea and it's precisely our kind of pasta - with some veggies, flavored with Parmesan and delicate spices etc.

Nice :)

Hi Sandra, long time not see; hope all is well! the spaghetti with broccoli sounds delicious. I love pasta and am happy to add some vegetables to it. My favourite is with tomatoes or Pesto! Ciao Sandra.

Lately, I've been pretty busy so my blogging was left in the corner :-), but I'm still crazy about cooking and photography so hopefully won't stop being virtually active ;-).
